Description

A beautiful and characterful small black (baby) grand piano by Rönisch.
This piano has been tuned regularly but played infrequently; we are now—with a heavy heart—looking to part with this lovely instrument due to an upcoming move.

Before we purchased it in 1997, the internal mechanism was refurbished by Frits Janmaat (then based on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam, now operating in Enkhuizen). We deliberately chose to leave the characterful casing intact rather than refinishing it in black lacquer, so as to avoid 'the ostentatious' look often associated with grand pianos.
Over time, two tuning pins became slightly loose, but they have since been secured more firmly using felt.
This grand piano offers years of playing enjoyment for an enthusiast or a piano teacher.
Our asking price is €3,333.
