Description

The Gispen 412 is a cantilever armchair. It was designed in 1934. It features a standard two-part frame made of hand-bent, chrome-plated tubular steel and is fitted with distinctive black Bakelite armrests that curve upwards at the ends.

The upholstery is in good condition but shows some signs of use. There are a few small scratches on the left Bakelite armrest and a small mark on the right one. The matte chrome base is in good condition, though it has some minor marks. (The fabric has come loose at the sides of the backrest where it attaches.)
